Sales Assistant (Night Shift)

Pay Rate: £ 13.50 per hour (Pay rate includes a Night Shift Allowance)
Contract: Part-time, 24 hours per week (2 days per week, 18:00 – 06:00)
Flexibility: Candidates must be fully flexible to work across both weekdays and weekends.

Our store focuses on fast, fresh, and delicious food for now and on the go. This key role involves working Night Shifts, typically spanning 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. As a vital part of our store team, you will be instrumental in our overnight success, ensuring a smooth transition between trading periods, maintaining high store standards, and contributing to a positive environment. The role blends customer service with essential general store support.

What You'll Do:
As a Night Shift Sales Assistant, you'll be on the front lines ensuring the store is fully prepared for the morning trade. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing outstanding service, assisting customers with purchases and queries, and ensuring every interaction is positive.
- Keeping the store tidy, well-stocked, and visually appealing, ready for peak trade.
- Preparing essential items for the morning rush (e.g., bakery setup, fresh food items).
- Supporting general store tasks, including receiving deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and general housekeeping.
- Working efficiently to support daily sales goals and ensuring smooth service during all operational hours.
What You'll Need:
- Must be 18 years or older due to the night shift working hours.
- Reliability and full flexibility to work various night shift patterns across weekdays and weekends is essential.
- Great attitude and team working skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks is essential.
- Previous experience in Food retail or food preparation is preferable
