Glenshire Group are currently in the process of adding Pizza Hut to our business portfolio. We are looking to recruit a Principal Operator who will take the lead in all the business operations for our new hut in Kirkcaldy and 3 more stores in the coming year. There will be 12 week training course you must attend prior to Hut opening.

The Group was established in 2020 to consolidate various existing business interests spanning multiple sectors operating within various sectors including Retail (Eros Retail), Hospitality, Property, Cleaning Hygiene & Business Supplies (Disruptive Brands), Online and Frozen Drinks (Skwishee) space.

The Principal Operator/Operations Director plays a key role in ensuring our Huts deliver against all performance metrics (sales, profit, operational standards and of course customer satisfaction). The role supports 4 Huts across Scotland, with the plan to expand in the In the near future. Principal Operator/Operations Director leads a team of Restaurant General Managers within the area, coaching and developing these business leaders to improve customer satisfaction, team development and overall profitability. The role also plays a key part in testing and learning new initiatives and embedding new process and procedures for the benefit our wider Franchisee population.
People & Culture Leader
•Build people capability of team members within a designated area, sharing know-how with other teams across estate as appropriate
•Develop and coach RGMs and the management team to ensure sound operational skills, knowledge and strong leadership behaviours are executed within the Hut. Partner with HRBP and peers to develop, coach, grow and certify both Shift Managers and RGMs for the estate
•Develop and embed positive working culture in all Huts and across area, including focus on recognition. Maintaining a keen focus on building an inclusive culture that supports everyone in becoming their best self.
•Review and reporting of people metrics, with focus on bench planning and developing talent pipeline
•Ensure optimum staffing across area, through RGM capability in recruitment, selection and training
•Recruit high-performing RGMs in conjunction with HR partner
•Build strong relationships with all functions across the Restaurant Support Centre, building know-how and sharing best practice
Customer Champion
•Coach RGMs to create customer focused environment
•Complete unannounced visits in line with routines to drive the right standards for our business
•Ensure Huts provide a consistently great customer experience, coaching team on managing complaints and increasing return visits
•Monitor and implement programmes to improve customer metric, e.g. order accuracy, speed of service, cleanliness
•Handles customer complaints according to guidelines to ensure customer issues are resolved
Sales & Profitability Driver
•Display a growth mindset seeking to maximise sales in area, coach RGMs to exceed sales targets through a strong sales culture
•Ensure rigorous execution of all marketing promotions, tailoring per Hut using a fact-based approach and driving LSM with team
•Ensure RGMs have strong understanding and awareness of local area, own their zone through increasing visibility within community and conducting regular competitor analysis
•Maximise profitability of area by understanding and controlling costs (e.g. labour, food costs, semi variables). Monitor daily, weekly and periodically, providing metrics to stakeholders
•Develop strategy to drive the Unit Contribution of the area by reviewing sales, transactions and costs in line with business needs holding team to account with monthly Business Reviews
•Develop portfolio management approach to area profitability, understand Hut needs and priorities and coaching on P&L when needed
•Coach RGMs to use trend analysis and analytics to accurately forecast sales and labour
