Management Accountant what?
We are recruiting a Management Accountant for a newly created role to oversee our accounts function and shape our finance processes through this period of growth. The successful candidate will report directly into the Group Finance Director, and will oversee a team of 5 colleagues including Finance and Accounts functions.

Glenshire Group operate across several sectors - convenience stores (Greens), Food / Franchise (Pizza Hut Delivery & Subway), frozen drinks (Skwishee) and commercial / residential property. The group is undergoing an exciting period of growth, leading to 50+ locations and growing group turnover to over £100m in the current financial year.
What will I be doing?
* Develop and implement financial controls to ensue robust reporting and monitoring of finances across the business
* Full ownership of the month-end processes across all group companies
* Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, with input from your team, to prepare MI packs for presentation to respective stakeholders
* Provide financial support and liaison to other departments across the group
* Leading people through Training & Culture - to provide professional leadership and direction to the accounts / finance teams, allowing colleagues to develop and nurture whilst exceeding on performance.
* KPIs - managing financial analysis of KPIs and ensuring these are communicated to relevant stakeholders
* Liaise with other departments to ensure maximum business-wide profitability

What do I need?
We are looking for a proven, experienced financial / accounts leader. Whilst experience in a similar role is preferred, it is not necessary and we welcome applications from experienced, qualified and ambitious accountants.
Beyond this, it is essential you have a willingness to deliver, are passionate about finance and have a strong attention to granular ops processes.
