Greens Retail are part of the Glenshire Group, a Scottish family-owned conglomerate based in Fife. The Group operates in multiple sectors Retail (Greens Retail), Hospitality, Property, Pizza Hut delivery and Frozen Drinks (Skwishee).
As an Area Manager at Greens Retail, you will be ultimately responsible for the overall management and running of retail estate. This currently entails 10 operating convenience stores within Dundee and central Scotland, though will be very quickly increasing to more sites broadly within the same geographic areas. We're looking for exceptional individuals that don't shy away from a challenge and will constantly go above and beyond to deliver the best convenience store chain in the country.
This position is field-based and you will be required to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks in order to allow you to meet KPIs and objectives. Predominantly you will spend most of your time in stores although there will also require to be some time spent at our Head Office in Kirkcaldy.
You will be required to provide a high level of support for all of the stores in your area, ensuring that company policy and procedures are followed and adhered to, as well as providing a source of guidance and knowledge in the numerous areas that are managed within the convenience sector. Most significantly, you will be responsible for driving team morale, innovation and creativity within stores.

The Area Manager will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week across 5 days inclusive of evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the business. We operate a flexi-working approach and hence, can be flexible with working times and hours providing objectives are being met.
